What’s up, MLBlogs world?!
So don’t yell and kick and scream at me, but I know I’m a little behind on things. Yes, THIS was my last post on the blog here. I also fell behind on my other writing, but for a whole bunch of reasons. After that game in June, I not only ended up attending 75 Orioles home games, 6 on the road, along with 15-20 minor league games, but I have been working full-time and…
Enough excuses. I’m a slacker. I was too lazy to take the time to edit pictures and wait on MLBlogs server to upload them and so on and so on. That, and I’m still a bit annoyed that MLBlogs moved over to WordPress where the memory is quite limited, but I’m working on that issue for the upcoming season.
Hmm. So what has happened since my last post…
Well…a lot of stuff.
I’ll post here and then about how the 2011 season ended along with offseason happenings…I hope.
Here’s a few random tidbits in a random order…randomly:
Threw toilet seats at a Bowie Baysox game on field with Romeo -
And was on TV when I traveled to see the O’s play in New York -
That’s actually quite the story of my trip up to Yankee Stadium, but I’ll save that for another time. In retrospect, it was a 4 hour rain delay turned into 2 am baseball followed by an afternoon game 11 hours later and yada yada yada. That is something I will have to post about eventually. Too funny/cool to ignore it.
So yeah. And Orioles Fanfest just happened. Gave away 20+ tickets to that event on Twitter, so if you don’t follow me, be sure to (@2131andBeyond). I didn’t even have a camera there, but do have a few pics I can scan in later to show.
Let me know what’s up with you, baseball people. Non-baseball people, too. Leave a comment with something inspirational or a question for me, and I’ll blog about it. I’m in school full time now and working full time, but I generally don’t pay attention in class, so it will give me time to catch up on this kind of stuff. Especially when one of my writing classes has the overall assignment to make a blog…I think I can achieve that goal here.
Oh yeah, and I placed in the Top 100 for MLBlogs for 2011 (Check out the badge on the right hand side of the blog toward the top!), even though I only posted for 5.5 months on here. You readers rock. Definitely giveaways and such this coming season. I have too many bobbleheads and random shenanigans laying around that could be well used by you folk.
